Scarlet Lady
September
Pros: Cabin was very clean and well taken care of. Also, the Wake restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed the small musical groups in the evening.
Cons: The food was not very good, only a few things were appealing. Often times, the food at the Galley was cold or not very tasty.
Recommended: No
We liked our room service very much they did a great job. We found the entertaining to be for the most part boring. As I said previously, the small group and solo music entertainment were nice. We expected more shows with music, dancing etc. which we were used to on previous cruises. Also, our ship was not able to dock at Toulon on the first day of the cruise due to weather which we understood. However we felt the ship could have offered maybe a free drink or some other type of compensation for this.

Great Experience
December
Pros: Staff, food, activities, bars,
Cons: Communication, restaurant availability, app technicality, small pools and people hoard mats and chairs
Recommended: Yes
This was a great first experience. The app kept crashing and needed to be restarted. When we were to board the ship there was no communication that we could check in early then get in our boarding time slot row. Lost tv for 24 hours since something happened to the tv and the tablet lost connection to it. The staff was friendly and learned our names to make us feel welcomed. We learned about different restaurants too late on the boat and couldn’t get into some different restaurants. The entrainment was very good. The pools were small and people hoarded chairs and beds so not everyone could sit around the pools. Would like to have itineraries for when we port that way we know what to expect at the ports.

Awesome experience
December
Pros: Food, drinks, staff, variety of activities
Cons: Communication, restaurant availability, app technicality, pool size, room size
Recommended: Yes
This cruise was souch fun. The staff was very friendly, the food was top notch and the drinks were not only too shelf but also reasonably priced. The romance package was not communicated super well and we felt it was not worth the money. The pools were small. The app did not work well. Restaurants were very hard to get into unless you booked way in advance. The activities offered on port days were not communicated clearly.

First time cruising on Virgin Voyages
November
Pros: new ship, good food variety, no kids
Cons: Restaurant reservations & shows booked fast
Recommended: Yes
I highly suggest that people book dinner reservations as soon as possible, otherwise you may get stuck eating after 9pm, which happened to us on multiple nights. Though the different restaurants were good, particularly Pink Agave.

An incredible ship. An incredible sailing
August
Pros: No kids, great food, all food, soft drinks, wi-fi, wellness classes and gratuities included. Great value!
Cons: Tiny bathrooms.
Recommended: No
Just back from a 5 night sailing aboard the amazing Scarlet Lady. I can't say enough good things about this product. Not having to step over kiddies or negotiate my way around carousels was a welcome relief. The ship was immaculate. The fact that the staff brings you whatever you wish in the Galley/buffet, as opposed to picking through food on a standard buffet was also something I was happy to see. The food was elevated. Every meal felt like I was eating in a buy-up restaurant, but was all included in the cruise fare. The staff were amazing. Courteous, prompt, and most of all fun! They all seemed to like they liked their jobs. So refreshing! The Bimini Beach Club was great. Same great level of food. Lots of craft cocktails, sun and fun. If you haven't cruised with Virgin Voyages yet, do yourself a favor and book a sailing sooner than later. You'll be glad you did!

Fantastic 5 days
April
Pros: Food, staff, private beach, nice staterooms, atmosphere
Cons: Wonky tech at times, muster drill,
Recommended: Yes
Beautiful ship, great crew. We took an XL stateroom and appreciated the larger bathroom. Balcony was nice. We watched sea birds catch fish stirred up buy the ships wake. Very cool. Our attendant on the deck was really great. He looked after us every step. Our cabana at Bimini was very relaxing and the staff very attentive. Really enjoyed eating at the Test Kitchen and Pink Agave. The Galley is great for breakfast. Some food there is grab and go, other orders like scrambled eggs delivered in minutes. Setting up Wi-Fi was slow and not real intuitive and delayed our ability to get seats for shows. Not convinced that upcharge for better service is worth it. the TV was partially working. Channels are few, that’s ok, but not all listed were always available at the point you wanted them. Great fitness facilities and programs.
